Periyar
University Distance Education Periyar University is a university located in
Salem, Tamilnadu, India. The university was established in the year of 1997 by
Government of Tamilnadu after a social reformer Thanthai Periyar. The
University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) & a member
of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and the Association of Commonwealth
Universities (ACU). The Periyar
